Quantum Info; 4th year
Email: cmaurer73@unm.edu
I am a 4th year PhD candidate at the University of New Mexico and an intern at Sandia National Labs. I do the bulk of my research with Andrew Landahl where I use tensor networks to probe questions in quantum error correction. Of particular interest to me is the use of tensor networks in decoding quantum codes. When I am not contracting tensors, I enjoy playing the bass in local jazz jams, cooking, and running very slowly.

Hello everyone! I am a fourth year PhD student at CQuIC within UNM, and also at the Quantum Performance Lab within Sandia National Labs. I work with C. Ostrove and R. Blume-Kohout with a focus on quantum characterization techniques. I keep my weekends busy by climbing any of New Mexico's canyons.

Hi there everyone! I am a second year student in CQuIC working under Akimasa Miyake focusing on hybrid algorithms for NISQ devices! When I am not doing that I am busy exploring NM, climbing, playing the cello, baking, and generally obsessing over some new book.

Hi! I’m Sarah, and I’m a first-year Astrophysics Ph.D. student at UNM. I do research with Diana Dragomir using JWST transit data for the atmosphere of an exoplanet that should’ve lost its atmosphere. When I’m not in classes or working on research, I like to crochet, play percussion as a member of the Albuquerque Concert Band, workout, and cook.
